			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Joshua Horenstein graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis before attending Yale University Medical School where he earned his Medical Doctorate.  He then continued at Yale-New Haven Hospital for his Internal Medicine internship and residency.</p>
<p>Pursuing an interest in teaching and critical care, Dr. Horenstein spent the year following residency as a Hospitalist in the Yale-New Haven Intensive Care Unit, supervising residents in critical care procedures. Dr. Horenstein then completed his training in Cardiology though fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, where he held the distinction of Chief Fellow.</p>
<p>Dr. Horenstein specializes in invasive and non-invasive cardiology, performing diagnostic catheterizations and trans-esophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), as well as the multiple diagnostic studies within non-invasive Cardiology.  He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.</p>
<p>Pleased to move to Port Orange, Dr. Horenstein enjoys a variety of water sports, as well as backpacking, bowling, and bridge.</p>

<p>Dr. Seide completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He then continued on to the University of Miami where he completed his Electrophysiology Fellowship.</p>
<p>Dr. Seide has been licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida since 1999 and joined the practice in 2004. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.</p>
<p>He is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Haitian Creole. Dr. Seide is on staff at Florida Hospital – Ormond Memorial, Florida Hospital – Oceanside, Florida Hospital – DeLand and Halifax Health, where he is currently the Director of the Electrophysiology.</p>
<p>Dr. Seide lives with his wife Sandra and wonderful daughter in Daytona Beach Shores.</p>

<p>Dr. Goldsmith then completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been licensed to practice medicine in Florida since 1989.</p>
<p>Dr. Goldsmith is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.</p>
<p>Dr. Goldsmith lives with his wife Jill and their two children in Ormond Beach.</p>

<p>Dr. Bartholomew is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Angiography and Intervention. Memberships include the American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, American Heart Association, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, Florida Medical Association and Volusia County Medical Society.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Roger K. Lewis, Jr. was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. It is here that he graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in History. After pursuing a Masters Degree in Physiology at Ohio State University, he was accepted to Cornell University Medical College in New York City where he graduated in 1966. His Internship was at Bellevue Hospital – Cornell Division in Lower Manhattan and his Residency in Internal Medicine was at the University of Washington Hospitals in Seattle, Washington. He then returned to the South where he spent three years in Birmingham, Alabama as a Cardiology Fellow and completed his Cardiology Fellowship.</p>
<p>Dr. Lewis began practicing in 1972 in Daytona Beach and performed the first catheterization at both Halifax and at Ormond Memorial (now Florida Hospital) on July 6, 1976. Dr. Lewis eventually branched out to practice on his own and began what is now the Daytona Heart Group. Dr. Kim Klancke was the first to join him as an associate and partner. It was during this time that Dr. Lewis was able to train as a long distance runner. He qualified and finished the Boston Marathon three times. Dr. Lewis retired in 1998 along with his wife, Liz, who was the group’s office manager for twenty-four years. They retreat to Montana occasionally where they enjoy fly fishing and farming as their hobbies.</p>
<p>Dr. Lewis is past president of the Volusia County Medical Society, the local chapter of the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross and the Museum of Arts and Sciences. He is also past Chairman of the London Symphony Orchestra Festival.</p>
<p>Dr. Lewis and Liz have two sons, one in Atlanta and one in Wilmington, North Carolina who is also an Interventional Cardiologist. Both enjoy visiting and spoiling their five grandchildren whenever possible.</p>
<p>Currently, Dr. Lewis is enrolled at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville pursuing a life-long dream of becoming a lawyer.</p>

Following graduation, Dr. Reed did his Internship and Residency at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, followed later on by his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Medical School, Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.</p>
<p>Dr. Reed is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Heart Association’s Clinical Council on Cardiology and was a Clinical Instructor at Tulane Medical School. He is past President of the Volusia Chapter of the American Heart Association and past Board Member of the Florida (State) Chapter of the American Heart Association.</p>
<p>In 2004, Dr. Reed received the Certificate of Excellence for recognition of outstanding achievement in healthcare from The Healthcare Foundation of Florida.</p>
<p>Dr. Reed keeps up with all the news in sports, especially the college teams. He&#8217;s an avid fan of the Miami Hurricanes.</p>
<p>Dr. Reed and his wife, Debbie, have one child and live in DeLand.</p>

<p>Dr. Wilson completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern, Parkland Memorial Hospital and the Dallas Veteran&#8217;s Administration Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1988. He then completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1992. While there, he completed an advanced fellowship in interventional cardiology and was promoted to the faculty of the medical school.</p>
<p>Dr. Wilson joined the practice in 1992. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is on staff at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center and Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach. He served as Chief of Cardiology at Halifax Health from 1999-2009 and is currently Chief of Medicine and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.</p>
<p>Dr. Wilson is an active investigator in clinical trials researching new cardiovascular therapies. He gives invited lectures regularly at hospital conferences and grand rounds as well as continuing medical education symposiums. In addition, he gives frequent lectures that adhere to FDA guidelines paid for by pharmaceutical companies on new cardiovascular drugs.</p>
<p>Dr. Wilson is a strong advocate of proper diet and regular exercise. He is married and has four children.</p>

He then finished his Internal Medicine training at Washington University in St. Louis before Cardiology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was elected Chief Fellow.</p>
<p>Dr. Rayos joined the practice right after fellowship in 1996. His special interest is interventional cardiology. He also performs transesophageal echocardiograms, interprets nuclear stress tests/echocardiograms/vascular studies, and implants permanent pacemakers and automatic implantable defibrillators.</p>
<p>Dr. Rayos’ board certification includes Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Recently, Dr. Rayos has been elected President of Daytona Heart Group. As others in his group, he takes an active role in enrolling patients in a number of clinical research studies, especially in the areas of congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation.</p>
<p>Dr. Rayos is married and has 3 children.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Oscar West hails from Jamaica. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica and attended Medical School at the University of the West Indies Medical School. He was a Clinical Cardiology Fellow at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in New York, NY and did his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine there as well. Dr. West was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He has been with the group since 1998, practicing in the DeLand and Orange City offices.</p>
<p>Dr. West is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.</p>
<p>Dr. West lives in DeLand with his wife Dionne and their three children.</p>
